Keepsy ("the app") is developed by Ibrehima Keita. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it's used.

What the app collects

• Receipt photos: taken with your camera or chosen from your photo library, at your direction, to log a purchase.
• Text read from receipts: store name, purchase date, and price, extracted from the photo using on-device text recognition.
• Item details you enter: item name, warranty length, return window, and any notes you add.

Where this data lives

All of the above is processed and stored only on your device. The app does not have a server, does not require an account, and does not transmit your receipts, photos, or item data anywhere. Text recognition runs locally using Google's ML Kit on-device model — no image or text is sent to Google or any other party for this purpose.

Purchases

If you buy the Pro upgrade or a cloud backup subscription, that transaction is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. Keepsy receives only a confirmation that you're entitled to the feature — no payment details ever reach the app.

Cloud backup (if enabled)

If a future version of the app adds an optional cloud backup feature, turning it on will upload your receipt data to secure cloud storage for the sole purpose of restoring it on another device. This section will be updated with the specifics before that feature ships, and backup will always be opt-in.

Permissions

• Camera: to photograph receipts. Only used when you tap the capture button.
• Notifications: to remind you before a warranty or return window closes.

Data deletion

You can delete any item (and its photo) from within the app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data immediately, since nothing is kept outside your device.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will reflect it.
